Hi all,
I've recently received a PCN for Code 53J – Failing to comply with restrictions on vehicles entering a pedestrian zone at Oldfield Lane South, Greenford (Ealing Council).
I’m not from the area and was simply following my satnav (I know not an excuse), which unfortunately didn’t warn me about any restrictions. I don’t recall seeing clear signage on approach or at least it wasn't obvious enough for me to notice or I wouldn't have driven down there. I’ve since looked at the location on Google Maps, but the Street View doesn't show the current signage setup. In the video from the council, the signs seem to be placed quite high up and may not be clearly visible or obvious, especially if you're unfamiliar with the area and the amount of information you need to take in (e.g. restrictions, what times this applies to as there are two sessions a day plus then checking what the actual time is driving through).
I’m considering challenging the PCN but would appreciate some advice:
Are there known issues with the signage at this location?
Has anyone successfully appealed a PCN here?
Is it valid to challenge based on poor signage or relying on satnav guidance?

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance!
Have until 22nd to pay the reduced rate!
