Well done.
Councils reject virtually all representations as they know that if they do >95% of people then just cough up. Yes it is unethical and shows their arrogance and insolence to the citizen, but there's nobody doing anything about it in Government. Maybe consider how you vote at the next council election, and general election ?

That was quick!
Congratulations on your success.

I won at Tribunal - Wokingham Council did not contest the Tribunal Appeal
Their comments :-
“Contravention did not occur, vehicles exit was largely clear, though it cannot be determined if they had space to clear the box fully, and no stationary vehicle prevented them from exiting. Driver stopped voluntarily within YBJ to allow vehicles to pass in front, this is not covered by the wording of the contravention.”
Strange that they rejected the initial appeal….
Thank you all for the advice!

We need to see the rejection letter.
-
Sorry Think you misunderstood - My appeal was rejected by Wokingham Council. I had a letter of rejection from them.
I am now filing the case with Traffic Penalty Tribunal
What comments should I write on the case for Tribunal? Or just repeat the same appeal?
-
Post the letter.

Hi all
I have had a appeal rejection letter, using MrChips response - what are my next steps please?
-
Mr Chips has the right of it go with his draft

This is the car identified so not the red one.
I think we've seen this box before - it doesn't look compliant to me as goes back way beyond the fire station.

It's probable the fire appliances turning left from the fire station would require a wide swing into oncoming traffic. Hence box moved far enough back to allow that manoevre

Thank you kindly for the responses as always. Yes she was indeed the Grey BMW who stopped to allow those 2 cars to turn into the side road
V5 in my name (insurance in hers). So I will make the response Wokingham Council as advised. Seems like are trying their 🍀
Also may I ask why Attachments function seems to be removed?
Appreciate the support!

100%. Assuming you are the grey car (not the red) if you pay anything to the council in respect of this you are giving your money away.
Suggested wording below which should be sent in the name of whomever the PCN was addressed to (i.e. the registered keeper, not necessarily the driver):
I have viewed the video footage and while my vehicle did stop inside the box junction, it did not have to do so due to a stationary vehicle. Instead my car stopped voluntarily to allow another vehicle to make a right turn.
Consequently no box junction offence has taken place and the PCN must be cancelled.
-
This isn't a contravention as the stop wasn't due to stationary vehicles preventing her from exiting the box.
We often see councils misinterpreting the legislation.

Hi
My Mrs has been hit with a PCN £70 by Wokingham Council for Stopping in a Yellow Box outside the Fire Station, observed for around 2 seconds - she said she had stopped out of courtesy to to let someone ahead turn into a sideroad on her side, had stopped for a second or so and was otherwise part of moving traffic

PCN: https://ibb.co/JWtf5j0W
Appreciate any help with grounds for appealing
