Is there a time limit for them to respond to a representation? Only concern is if ive missed a letter in the post.
Let the sleeping dog lie. They clearly have staffing problems as many cases are not contested at the Tribunal the last time I looked.
I have a feeling there's an element of "strategy" behind this rather than RBG just being crap. Not contesting and losing by default means a ruling is never given on the merits of the appeal (road markings/PCN wording etc etc) and they can go on issuing incorrect PCNs (that they know most people will just pay) with plausible deniability.

2023-2024 Statistics: https://www.londontribunals.gov.uk/about/annual-reports-and-appeal-statistics
They're not the best or worst. Stats don't show anything particularly out of step with others.

It's now over a month since you submitted your representations, so if there is nothing showing on the website for your PCN, other than PCN served, it might be prudent to call them to find out what is going on.
How did you submit your reps ? If online, did you keep the response (e.g a screen capture)?

my appeal which was sent online on 7 Sept
Reason for appeal: 'Any other reason'
Your answers:
-Question 1 : 'Please explain in as much detail as possible why you think your PCN should be cancelled'
Answer : 'This PCN came as a surprise as the driver does not recall seeing any prohibition. The driver is not local and therefore not familiar with this complex layout. Ive been back to take a look at the signage and would like to make two points.
1) The sign is right at the junction with no warning further back on the road which means you only have one chance to see it and would miss unless looking directly at it. Youd also need to execute a 3 point turn at the junction which is not ideal practice.
2) The sign is also high. Unless you were looking for it you may well miss it. The driver is below average height.
There was no particular advantage to the driver taking that route who could easily have taken an alternative if they had been aware of the restriction. This was clearly an error with no intent and could have been prevented with better signage.
I therefore kindly ask you to revoke the PCN and thank you for your consideration.'
-Question 2 : 'Would you like to upload any other documents to support your case?'
Answer : 'No'

not sure how to find the audit trail. will have another look. im posting everything 1 post at a time. should all be there tonight. thanks all. still not had response to appeal

Ive since checked the website and the fine has doubled, but ive not had the outcome or any further communications or a notice to owner (at least I don’t think the initial PCN counts as one)
With postal PCNs there is no Notice to Owner because the PCN itself is sent to the owner, (keeper name and address on the V5C). You actually submitted a formal representation which if refused means the next place to go is the adjudicators. Have you looked at the audit trail on their website ?
For more advice please read what John UK has posted and update your thread accordingly.

Alleged offence – 20 August 52m failing to comply with a prohibition on certain types of vehicle
PCN date – 29 August
Appeal date -7 September well within the 14 day period.
Ive since checked the website and the fine has doubled, but ive not had the outcome or any further communications or a notice to owner (at least I don’t think the initial PCN counts as one). Any ideas on what I should do next?
