These are usually very hard to challenge and here you had good visibility and just did not obey the arrow.

Only I'd say hope is something in the paperwork.

Good afternoon everyone,

In my search for information on challenging the PCN I received by post yesterday I came across your site and would be grateful for any advice.

I was driving in unfamiliar location, taking my daughter back from a hospital appointment 📆 and when approached the restrictions on this road, I hesitated and went through the middle section instead. The road layout was quite unusual, or maybe I am just not experienced enough. I now wish I did not panic (as I saw another vehicle approaching behind me) as it was a costly mistake.

I saw another 38L successful representation but in a different location and was wondering if challenging liability on the ground that the penalty charge exceeds the amount due in the circumstances of the case could be used in this case?

I hope you don’t mind me asking if you can help @cp8759 ?

If there is any other option than to pay up I would much rather explore it as I disagree with how we are penalised everywhere we go.

If there is anything else I need to add, please do let me know.
