The reg input was correct and when the ticket was purchased from the machine the + button was pressed to 2 hours, only noticed that £2 had been charged when the parking charge notice had been received.

2 hours is £2.40 but only £2 was paid, so on the face of it, it was short. Was the correct reg input?

Hi,
Just looking for some advice on how I can go about appealing a parking charge notice received for parking at Kennack Sands.
Driver entered the car park, found a space and parked up
Ticket was purchased at the machine for "up to 2 hours" by debit card
Parking charge notice received in the post on Saturday 30th August
Ticket states car entered at 14:32 and exit at 16:14
Debit on account for parking was for £2.00
The copy of the parking ticket has been misplaced
My mother is the registered keeper of the vehicle
Here is a copy of the parking charge notice https://imgur.com/a/gU2GsZk
Image of cost of parking https://imgur.com/a/9aNvmcw
Copy of debit from account https://imgur.com/a/Kzh7mJp
Any ideas on whether proof of payment from bank would be enough to show payment had been made for "up to 2 hours", and any help with how to approach appealing this would be great!
Many Thanks

Welcome, but please read https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ for at least two reasons:
- Identifying the driver may be a mistake
- We need to see more details, copies of what you’ve received and sent
And it’s a speculative invoice, not a penalty. Private firms can’t issue penalties. The word won’t appear on their invoice.

Hi,
Just looking for some advice on how I can go about appealing a penalty I received for parking at Kennack Sands.
- I purchased a ticket for up to 2 hours and paid by card, I have a record of the debit that was taken.
- Unfortunately the ticket has been misplaced so I do not have it as evidence that I paid
- The time on the charge states I entered the car park at 14:32 and left at 16:14
- When looking at my bank account the amount taken was only £2.00, when the price board at the car park showed up to two hours as being £2.40.
- There is no £2.00 charge, up to 1 hour is £1.40 and up to 3 hours is £3.40 and 8 hours is £7.50
Any ideas on whether my proof of payment from my bank would be enough to show I had paid, and any help with how to approach appealing this would be great!
Many Thanks
