Title: Car accidentally parked in a private bay of a pay and display car park
Post by: dennisonthomas on September 03, 2025, 07:16:50 pm
As title, car was accidentally parked in a 'permit holders only' bay by accident in a public pay and display car park. Parking was paid for through the PayByPhone app. There were a couple of signs that mentioned this, however these were not noticed. Since the car park shares the same entrance/exit and there is a giant sign saying 'PAY AND DISPLAY CAR PARK', the natural thing is to park wherever there is a space.

Is there any grounds for appeal of the Parking Charge Notice here?

Thanks in advance
