Dear all, I just wanted to thank you for all of your help and advice. I persisted as recommended and Camden have no cancelled the PCN and apologised for the CEO's error! This is a great result, so thank you all again for your help.

The bay here is not subdivided into individual bays for a single vehicle. If the side of the street where you parked are even numbers, 98 follows 96 where you parked, so if any part of your vehicle was opposite No 98 the contravention is made out. So you need to look very carefully at their photos. If the CEO has been a Dumbkopf and not taken pictures that show you were intruding into the frontage of No 98, then you have an excellent case.
Be aware that councils reject >99 % of informal reps no matter how valid they are, because they know most people then cough-up to get the discount, not knowing enough about the law to be confident of taking matters further.

Thank you so much. I am the registered keeper and the log book has the correct address. l will wait for the notice to owner.
-
The suspension signs are usually on the parking signs because you have a duty to check parking signs but the suspension details are what count and it seems you were not in the suspending area.
If so I would await the notice to owner.
Are you the registered keeper and is the logbook address correct?

The Council in their rejection letter sent pictures of my card and the sign (attached). Annoyingly, I took a picture of the house which my car was parked in front of but failed to frame it so that the door number and car were in the same shot so have not shared that.
I know GSV is ten years old, but I think the council photos clearly show you parked outside no 96 (large hedge and you can see top right corner of the second floor of number 96 in one of the photos).
Also the suspension sign seems to be fixed to the parking sign pole between numbers 92 and 94, so two houses (94 and 96) away from the actual suspension
-
Thank you for helping with this.
I was worried that the suspension area begins from where the notice was actually posted which was outside no 94.
I will pursue.
-
Seems to me they have no pics or proof you were in the suspension area so I would go on with this.

Thank you. I have just emailed you the rejection letter.
My response was via the PCN portal rather than via email, so I don't actually have a copy of it. Just logged in again to see if it was there and it is not.

You can email me the rejection letter and I'll post it without your personal details.

Thank you. The docs were emailed and I cannot print them off to photograph them. I ffear if I screen shot, they will be as bad as the last set.
@Stamfordman knows much more about posting images than I do, and my have other suggestions, but meanwhile:
Are your working with a PC or solely from a mobile?
If you can access a PC, you should be able to access the images on Camden's website and download them.
What happens when you save yr pdf's and try to attach them to your posts? I believe there is some limited attachment space here.
Wev also need to see what you wrote in yr reps to them. If you e-mailed you should be able to copy and paste them here.
Incidentally, I thought Councils still had to communicate with you by post, even if also using e-mail, but I may be out of date.

If you can use the PCN and VRM, they are:

Actually cannot post better images as I used the suggested free file sharing platform which is not great and I cannot upload a pdf directly here. Feeling a bit inept.
. . .
Many thanks.
Don't feel inept. We've all struggled with uploading at some point. Hope this may help:
The easiest way to upload docs here (unless you have no mobile phone camera) is to use yr phone to photo each page of each doc, redacting yr name & address where it occurs, and uploading the images to an external site like https://ibb.co/ or imgur and copy and post the BBCodes here. I use ibb with no probs. (Scroll down past the image to see the BBCode.)
-
... If it is, then this tells me I should not further challenge the PCN.
Many thanks.
Actually there might be a number of different reasons that would allow you to challenge the PCN. That's why they want to read all the documents to see if other reasons might invalidate the PCN.
If you give the vehicle registration number and PCN number they can be checked.
-
What are the PCN number and car VRM.
We can't read the rejection as you've posted minute pics of it.

Please, to save badgering again, could someone clarify whether a parking suspension begins from where the sign is posted rather than the house numbers or bays detailed on them? If it is, then this tells me I should not further challenge the PCN.
Many thanks.

You'll need to post better resolution images, these are unreadable. Also post the PCN as well.

Attached is the pdf (3pages) with the pictures posted by the council. I hope this adheres to the guidance.

Please follow Stamfordman's advice and post copies of the documents here, only redacting yr name & address - leave all else in. Please also post a GSV link to the location of the car at the time.

Post the PCN, your challenge and their full rejection blanking only name and address.
It sounds like they are trying it on but we need to see things.

Hi there, new to this forum and hope I'm posting correctly.
It is a question really. Does the bay begin from the point a which the yellow parking suspension sign is placed? I ask because I received a PCN because I parked in an area where the sign said outside numbers 98 to 102. I took that to mean house number, so parked outside number 96. I did challenge and explained where I had parked but got a response relevant para below from L Simmons.
"The Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) observed your vehicle parked in a bay suspended for Domestic Removal. You have stated you parked outside of number 96, however, I have referred to the CEO’s notes that record your vehicle was parked a reasonable distance from a time plate that had the suspension details stated on a large yellow sign. This bay was suspended from Maygrove Road Bay Type; Permit Holders Only Location: Outside 98 to 102 from 08:30 to 18:30 from the 14/08/2025 to 14/08/2025."
No idea what 'a reasonable distance from a time plate' means.
Can anyone explain what the above means please?
