Title: LBHF PCN Event day parking
Post by: Emelpe11 on September 01, 2025, 09:57:04 pm
Hello there,
I got issued with a PCN for parking in a marked bay on an event day.

PCN issued at 16.18 on a Saturday, with car being observed on the street from 16:07 to 16:18. It was an event day. My understanding from the sign is that I can park there on an event day Saturday for 2 hours without paying or having a permit. Am I wrong?

Do I have grounds to contest this, and if so, how best to go about it?

1st pic is the sign. Second pic is the parking metre which I didn’t look at on the day of the incident as I did not understand from the sign that I had to pay.

Thank you
