You can submit these reps, of course, and why not?
As expressed by others, it's not a defence on the basis of what's known i.e. Red Route clearway, because markings aren't required and the prohibition applies to the footway as well as the carriageway.
The 8th is the latest date for receipt by TfL in order to guarantee the extended discount period.

The Contravention didn’t occur.
Please consider this as my informal representations regarding this PCN.
The car was not parked on the carriageway of the red route. I consider that the red route refers to the 3 lane carriageway and not that part of the carriageway which is separated from the main carriageway and has boxes marked out for car parking. Furthermore there are no signs to state that parking is only allowed in marked spaces.
There are no markings or red lines on that part of the carriageway, whereas after Osterley Station, with the same carriageway layout as where the car was parked and approx ½ mile away, the road is marked as a red route with red lines, boxes and signs.
Because of the above I consider that the contravention did not occur and that the PCN must be cancelled.
Can someone please look at this and tell me if my informal reps are okay.

Can someone please advise?

Should I just put in a one liner appeal as per the case mentioned above?
No. You're not at 'appeal', you're at the reps stage and what you're referring to is prospective procedural c**k-ups by the authority.
-
Can someone please help me with this?
I've just won another case which is on a red route this one (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/tfl-stopping-on-a-red-route/)
Should I just put in a one liner appeal as per the case mentioned above?

It is roughly behind the black car, but that image is old, there are markings on that part of the carriageway.

I parked behind a car there are no signs to say that you have to park within a box

GSV pl.
As it stands, it's a 24/7 'clearway' which applies to the footway and carriageway and markings are not required.
If this applies, what's your defence or did you simply misunderstand/not see the signs. If the latter, we need to see their siting.
-
I was not parked on the footway. That 'path' is for car parking, the pavement is between that stretch of road and the houses. A few yards up on that very path is legitimate parking bays. If you look at the last picture you can see cars parked on that part of the road.
-
It is a clearway and therefore lines are not required. You also appear to be on the footway which is a contravention
-
TFL have accused me of parking on a red route however I want to challange this
There are no markings on the road indicating that it is a red route. A few yards up there are boxes marked with dotted white lines, there are no restriction signs.
There are no signs to suggest you can only park in marked boxes.
The part that I was parked in was not part of the main carriageway
Picture 3 looks like it was taken by a fixed camera and not by the CEO. That camera is across the road and the sign cannot be seen from the main carriageway, ie if you were travelling along the A4 Great west road.
The orginal pictures are taken with the camera at right angles, I have the original pictures, but for the sake of clarity have rotated them.
