***Update***
I have received an email from POPLA that my appeal has been withdrawn by Euro Car Parks, which is a win, so thank you to all for your advice. I really appreciate it.
-
ok, thank you - I'm going to submit a POPLA appeal and come back here when I get a letter of claim.
-
Having failed to register your blue badge for this visit, any appeal is going to fail, including POPLA. That doesn’t mean you don’t submit one, as it will cost ECP £30 to challenge it.
If/when POPLA reject the appeal, you don’t pay. You ignore all useless debt recovery letters. Debt collectors are powerless to do anything except o try and persuade the low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree to pay up out of ignorance and fear.
Eventually, you will receive a Letter of Claim (LoC) and the a county court claim. We will provide a template defence and as long as you follow the advice here, you will not be paying a penny to ECP.
Any defended claim issued by DCB Legal will be either struck out or discontinued as long as it is defended and you follow our advice.

Please show us exactly what you said in your appeal.
I did it online, so not sure how to retrieve it. I basically said in the appeal that the disabled spaces were full, and I had no choice but to park in a normal bay and attached a copy of my blue badge.

It says on the signs in the letter from Euro car parks that if you are disabled and need more time, register your blue badge with Sainsbury's customer service, and since I have already registered previously, I didn't know I had to do it every time. Thanks please see link below for the signage

Please show us exactly what you said in your appeal.
The disabled spaces were full, so they parked in a normal parking bay and thought they had 3 hours as a disabled bay.
Can you clarify this - do the signs in the car park say that disabled people/blue badge holders are entitled to 3 hours parking?

Hi, I got a postal PCN from Euro Car Parks for overstaying at Sainsbury's. I have a blue badge and submitted a copy with my appeal to Euro Car Parks, but they have refused it, and I now have to appeal to POPLA. Could I please get some advice on how to proceed? TIA
Here’s the PCN below - the driver parked at Sainsbury's in Tooting town centre. The disabled spaces were full, so they parked in a normal parking bay and thought they had 3 hours as a disabled bay. I appealed to Euro Car Parks with evidence of my blue badge, but it's been refused.
