Title: Re: Multiple PCNs for same mistake in Greenwich

With these if there isn't certainty of challenging them the principle of not knowing until the first arrives can prompt them to cancel all but the first.

Also Greenwich is in a mess currently with capacity for preparing tribunal cases so this may mean they are receptive.

Make a list of all PCNs and dates.

I'll check the tribunal cases later as some of these are allowed for various reasons.
Title: Multiple PCNs for same mistake in Greenwich

Royal borough of Greenwich, PCN Contravention 52m (Failing to comply with a prohibition on certain types of vehicle (motor vehicles)) St John’s Park SE3.

I was housesitting for 15 days (31st July – 14th August) and used St Johns Park for the free parking during my stay (parking locations indicated by red dots on Image 1, google maps link to junction -> https://maps.app.goo.gl/5xVHZCqjwYEvDveP8 ). I always drove via the route marked by green arrows (Image 1). I don’t remember the times/days I parked/drove on St Johns park but I know I did it quite a few times, always only to access the free parking.
I don’t recall seeing the signs and when I went back to look they were twisted away from the road, not clearly placed or obscured by foliage.
I have currently received 3 PCNs all for the same offense. I received the 1st and 2nd on the 15th August and the 3rd on the 16th August, however I’m expecting more to arrive.
I don’t mind paying one PCN, but multiple seems unfair as I wasn’t aware that I was doing anything wrong until I received the 1st PCN after my stay in Greenwich had ended. I returned to the road on the 17th August to take pictures of the relevant signage, as it was only introduced in November last year (so still on a trial period) google maps aren’t updated. However, I believed the restriction was for Vanbrugh Park so only took pictures at the Charlton Way junction. It was only after researching more I found out the restriction was for St Johns Park.
To my knowledge there is only one camera facing North at the St Johns Park / Vanbrugh park junction. The three current PCNs have recorded my car turning right towards Vanbrugh terrace, but I know I turned left at other times too.
Please could you help me build a case so I don’t have to pay the charges (which I wouldn’t be surprised if they came to around £800) or at least so I only have to pay one charge under “disproportionate penalty”.

I have uploaded my current appeal letter (not yet sent to anyone), and the screenshots/photos which will accompany it -> https://imgur.com/gallery/pcn-appeal-MGDSkK6

Many thanks!
