The correct contravention should be 'Not parked correctly within the markings of a bay or space' in my view as you are not 'beyond' bay markings as such.

The pic of the terms board can't be read.

Rear offside wheel wholly beyond the line.

IMO, you don't have a defence against the contravention provided that the order and the instructions at the car park impose this requirement.

Hi all

On 10/08/25 I was given a £50 PCN by Wokingham Council today within Places Leisure Centre multi story under this contravention:

"86 Parked beyond the bay markings"  :-[

I basically parked next to someone who must have parked shunted along and must have gone over the lines (would not usually be so selfish and check but was in a hurry to make Swimming slot with the Kids. I'm still flabbergasted, seems like a overly keen Warden

Any tips for an appeal? Or just lump it any pay the 50% early bird offer @£25?
