We operate some "house rules" on the site.

1. We operate a "one case, one thread" rule. This means that you should keep any posts relating to one case (one incident of speeding, one PCN, etc) to a single thread. Do not start multiple topics on the same case.

Hello,

My wife is the registered keeper and I'm an insured driver on the policy.

This is a new charge - separate to the original one. Should I create a new thread?

Thanks

As far as I can tell, you are the registered keeper.

Please read https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ and, in particular, why you should not identify the driver.

Please also post anything you are talking about, removing personal details.

Why are you now posting after six months? Is this a new issue, or a continuation of previous one? Please be clear.

Hello,

I have a question.

When appealing a Stansted parking fine from APCOA it asks me for either Vehicle's Driver / Keeper / Hirer and asks for information.

Would they use this when looking at the appeal? I have received another charge today for it.

Thanks

The appeal period is from the date the notice was deemed received. So, two working days after the issue date.

APCOA are so easy to beat as long as you only appeal as the Keeper and do not identify the driver.

Thank you, Sir. I will respond if anything further comes in.

Today was Day 26 after the Notice date so I am within the time.

Thanks

You appeal before the 28 days is up get it cancelled.

As the registered keeper, do not identify the driver:

Quote
Dear Sirs,

I have received your Parking Charge Notice (Ref: ______) for vehicle registration mark _______, in which you allege that the driver has incurred a parking charge. I am appealing as the registered keeper of the vehicle. There is no obligation for me to name the driver and I will not be doing so. I note from your correspondence that you are not seeking to hold me liable as the registered keeper, under Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 ("The Act").

Even if you were seeking to do so, as London Stansted Airport is not "relevant land" as defined by The Act you are unable to recover the charge from me, the keeper.

I am therefore unable to help you further with this matter, and look forward to your confirmation that the charge has been cancelled. If you choose to decline this appeal, you must issue a POPLA code.

Yours,

Put
Stansted
in the forum’s search box for more information.

Read https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ on not identifying the driver, and I suggest you modify your original post accordingly.
Title: Stansted Parking Notice

Hello,

I have recently received this parking notice. The notice has already passed the 14 day "discounted" period.

At the time I forgot to pay the charge at Stansted airport. I am happy to pay the £60 due but I am already past the discounted period after receiving this letter.

How would I be able to get it back to the £60 amount as I only received late last week?
