Agreed, lesson learnt.

But I'm not alone: https://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news/9332840.kingstons-most-lucrative-street-for-parking-fines-rakes-in-more-than-100000-a-year/ (https://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news/9332840.kingstons-most-lucrative-street-for-parking-fines-rakes-in-more-than-100000-a-year/)

Me neither.

Basically, in London, one needs to read a parking sign from top to bottom, as restrictions are all over the place and one can get caught out if the full sign is not read.

I can't see anything to go on. Why did you park there?

Hi All,

Not particularly hopeful here but I have fallen victim to one of Kingston's most lucrative PCN spots - Fairfeld Road.

Usually diligent with signs but failed to read the text at the base of the sign stating permit only after 6:30pm.

Interestingly the Google Maps waypoint on the evidence provided (see related image) is in the wrong place by quite a distance.

Would there be any chance of a procedural impropriety or other grounds of appeal here? Or best to pay.

Thank you.
