Thank you guys. Appreciate the help here.
There was a random printed page in my letter that just looks like an unofficial word document which talks a bit more about court, but no summons. Hopefully that won't happen.

You can resume eating.
Too fast for a course (they are offered up to 42mph). You should be offered a fixed penalty (£100 and 3 points). Make sure you follow the instructions when accepting it, in particular you will need to submit your DL details again.
(which I know is possible with a Band B offence)
Beware when reading stuff online. It is only a "Band B" offence if you are sentenced in court.

Can someone please advise on what is most likely to happen next? I am honestly struggling to eat right now as if I'm banned (which I know is possible with a Band B offence) I will lose my job.
It will be a fixed penalty (3 points £100) assuming you don't currently have 9 points.

Hi everyone, I've been caught accelerating out of a small 30 zone doing up to 46mph before hitting a national zone. My memory is honestly god awful and I can't remember speeding but I'll trust the manned camera vans and take my punishment on the chin.
This is my first offence since receiving my license 6 years ago, and I never speed to begin with, hence my shock and current excessively bad nerves for what happens next.
I've received a form that I've filled out today (and completed online) which nominates me as the driver, the offence was clocked on Wednesday so I assume this will reach the local police station well within the time needed.
Can someone please advise on what is most likely to happen next? I am honestly struggling to eat right now as if I'm banned (which I know is possible with a Band B offence) I will lose my job.
Cheers in advance.
