Morrisons always get PCNs canceller that are issued to their customers, especially if they can prove custom. However, as you are already aware, even if you do nothing, it will eventually wither on the vine and all the useless reminders and debt recovery letters will stop. I do know of some motorists who collect all the useless paper and compress them into brick form for use in their wood burners and stoves.

It can't do any harm - just make sure it, or the appeal, doesn't inadvertently identify the driver.

Hi,
Driver of vehicle received PCN for overstaying in Morrisons car park with 3 hour limit. As the registered keeper I am aware of no keeper liability in Scotland and have the standard response from Dr Satan ready to send. Before I do that I have a question. On the How to appeal section there is a line which says - If you are a Morrisons customer with a valid receipt, then please refer to our appeals process below.
The driver has a valid receipt from Morrisons. My question is - should I attach said receipt to my prepared response?
Thanks
