I wish someone can help you with a good advice. I had the same as you, and I sent tenancy agreement, my V5, showing I have the right to park here, with permit or not. Everyone matches, it was no way to come to an agreed as the display was not very well positioned or visible. At the end I remembered paid about £400 to £500 for all the fines, as they were keep coming every single night and by the time I received the first letter I had already about 6 fines.

I have received 2 letters from debt recovery plus in relation to a Parking ticket recently( PCN)
The letters are related to parking ticket in private property in November 2019 given by company called CUP enforcement
Of interest this was a ticket issued to me for parking in my own flat area. Have a tenant and had to come to help with water leak. Forgot to display the parking permit and got the ticket.( We had couple of other owners of flats like me who got tickets and we had to dismiss CUP enforcement from our flats area)
Tried to discuss with CUP enforcement who did not listen and gave me popla code for appeal. Did not hear back from either of them and suddenly in June 2025 received letter from Debt recovery plus x 2 in June 2025. Popla also when contacted after this letter came got back to say I was in the wrong
I have my mortgage letter
Letter from my free holder etc
Will have letter from society secretary to acknowledge we had 2 parking permits one for us one for the tenant
Want to know what I need to do next as really feel sick and angry at this injustice and harassment
Could you help please
Also if note they have got my name wrong on the letter sent by debt recovery plus
