Title: Leahurst Road PCN 53j
Post by: dombeale on June 25, 2025, 02:01:14 pm
Hi all,

I have received this PCN from Lewisham Borough for driving in a restricted zone. I evidently did, but I certainly didn't realise at the time.

"Failing to comply with a restriction on vehicles entering a pedestrian zone (Camera enforcement)"

My question is: can I appeal this on the grounds that the photos attached are unclear? The first picture is incredibly dark black and white. It does show my car but none of the surroundings are clear. The second photo only shows some of the car and shows absolutely no identifier of it being mine (no reg visible). It also doesn't show the car having crossed past the sign for the pedestrian zone, just approaching it. In my mind, this is not evidence of any contravention.

Am I right, or shall I just pay it?

EDIT - I have removed the PCN as it carried yr name & address.

Please to have  aread of
https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/

and post up here
all sides of the PCN,
any  Council images (inc. any video),
a GSV link to the location.

Only redact yr name & address from docs - leave all else in.

Regards, John U.K.
