Don't panic. Anyone following the advice given here will not pay a penny to UKPC, even if ti goes as far as a court claim.

Before you do anything else, show us the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) you received. Did the "warden" issue a windscreen Notice to Driver (NtD) or did they just send a postal Notice to Keeper (NtK). Leave ALL dates and times showing on the notice you received. You only need to redact the PCN number and,  if it was a postal NtK, your personal details.

Title: Disabled badge fell out of wallet

Hi everyone, this is my first post so go easy on me! 😂

I was out shopping today with my sister who is heavily diabetic amongst other health problems. She came over very ill whilst we were out in a retail park. I parked up in a disabled bay to quickly get her something to eat and drink while she was coming over all funny. In a rush, I threw the badge on the dashboard to which the disabled badge fell out of the wallet and onto the floor in the car. We then went on to get food at a fast food stand across from where we parked.

Long story short, out of no where a warden was writing me a ticket I told him I'd put a badge up and then showed him the badge and told him it had fallen down. He gave me the usual story of "I can't do anything, it's been processed now".

Can anyone help me with any advice on appealing the fine, if it's even a possibility?

The parking company is UKPC. I wasn't given any grace period (if allowed) and was immediately given a ticket despite me telling him I had a badge and that my sister had become suddenly unwell. The car is registered disabled too.

These companies are really brutal and have zero compassion. If I could have a word of advice from anyone on this forum it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Brad
