The leasing company owns the car. Yes i believe my company leases the car on my behalf
-
Who actually leases the car, your employer?
-
Sorry i should have been more clear. The leasing company will inform my employer who will then deduct the funds from my salary. The car is leased via salary sacrifice.
-
You have no standing in this, so the answer to your question is no, you do not have a case to challenge the PCN. You are a legal stranger in the enforcement proceedings.
Before you go further, can we establish some facts pl.
The lease company paid the PCN and will deduct this from my salary.
Clearly the lease company cannot deduct anything from your salary because they are as much a stranger to your salary arrangements as you are to current proceedings.
So, what's the linking factor?
My guess is your employer. So pl let us know the chain of authority and accountability here.
-
The PCN was sent via email from the lease company as a notification no further action. The lease company paid the PCN and will deduct this from my salary.
There was no covering letter. The letter was scanned and attached via email. I have called the leasing company to confirm this is genuine
-
The PCN was not addressed to you, so how did you obtain it?
If the lease company sent it to you, then pl post their covering letter.
At present, you have no legal role in this.
-
Do you guys think i have a case to challenge this PCN?

and

Hi all
This is a lease car and the PCN has already been paid by the leasing company
Southwark Council,
32d - Failing to drive in the direction shown by the arrow on a blue sign (proceeding in the wrong direction)
Location - Peckham Rye Junction East Dulwich Road (Right)
I was unaware you can only proceed straight. There's ongoing road works and temporary traffic lights are in place. The blue arrows on the traffic lights were covered. I was unable to notice the blue arrow. The markings on the ground are also faded. it is hard to make out the road markings ahead only.
