My reason for stopping was solely for the purpose of unloading goods/items at Opera Grill. This was a brief stop necessary to transfer items from the vehicle namely DJ equipment consisting of decks, lighting and cables. I have emails confirming the booking on that day if required and also the invoice.
Upon reviewing the location and the signage, I observed that there appears to be no specific restriction sign directly applicable to the bay where my vehicle was stopped. The only sign visible in the vicinity stated, "No stopping except buses" and featured an arrow pointing to the left. Crucially, the area designated as a bus stop, to which this sign presumably refers, was clearly and unambiguously delineated by yellow lines. My vehicle was parked in a bay outside these yellow lines, suggesting it was not part of the restricted bus stop area.
Given the absence of any other prohibitive signage for the specific bay I occupied, and the clear demarcation of the bus stop area, it was reasonable to conclude that stopping for unloading was permissible in that location.
Therefore, I believe the PCN was issued incorrectly as the signage was ambiguous and did not clearly indicate a restriction for the bay in question. I kindly request that you review my appeal and cancel the aforementioned PCN.

You are allowed time to complete loading or unloading but you must be in the process of doing so.
Where were you when the pictures were taken? You need to account for 6 mins observation time.
