Aldi routinely cancels PCNs for genuine customers, regardless of how much they spent. Fill out the online form at https://help.aldi.co.uk/s/contact-form-store

and expect to receive an email asking for some of the same information that you entered on the form followed by an email informing you the PCN has been cancelled.

Was the driver a customer of Aldi? If so, they should ask Aldi management (as high up the management food chan as you can go) to get it cancelled. this is what is known as Plan A.

The driver was yes. Ill get them to try that.

If that fails, is there anything to put in for the appeal?

For mine the driver had parked in a child bay and it was Horizon that issued the paperwork.

Posting on behalf of my sister in law who is the registered keeper.

The driver has driven into the car park and not seen any signs stating that you had to put the number plate in.

The driver has parked (having done some practice parking due to a driving test coming up (since passed)).  Popped into the shop for some bits and bobs and left.

The RK has received the attached letter.

Has anyone got some advice on the wording of the appeal?  For information parking is free at the car park anyway.

Thanks in advanced.
