Thanks. Was inputting the details on the app literally 5 yards away, facing the opposite direction. Must have been waiting there looking to ticket someone. Nice.

The sign taken by the CEO has the code 17205 so you're good to go.
By the way where were you? It's never a good idea to leave the car before starting a session unless you can't get a signal.
---------
Dear Redbridge,
the contravention did not occur as I had started a parking session for location 17205 at 12:58, the same time as the PCN.
I enclose the RingGo receipt.
I look forward to your early confirmation of cancellation of the PCN.

Hi, noted re the receipt. Checked the location and 100% the Ringo code correlates to where the car was parked in Grove Park (adjacent to the High St). The code covers both Grove Park and Wanstead High Street.
-
So, OP, where did you actually park ?
-
The council pics not up yet but there may be an issue with the location.
PCN says Grove Park, and your receipt says High Street Wanstead (Central) 17205.
More councils are getting nasty about location codes so this may be it.
But the timing by the minute is also identical and that would usually mean no contravention as a transaction could be a few seconds after the CEO check, all other things being OK.
