My first question is, what's the chance this appeal will overturn the ticket?
Almost nil. Heartfelt stories do not generate profit for parking companies. From the version of events you have posted, it would seem that you may be 'bang to rights' in terms of the alleged contravention. Is it the case that there is a free stay period, then for any stay beyond that a tariff applies?
It says on their website they place the charge on hold, but will the discounted price stay?
The wording would imply so, but I'm not sure what ECP's normal approach is here.

Did you shop at the Morrisons store at all during your stay? Anecdotally, Morrisons are generally quite good at intervening in cases where their customers get charges - this one may be trickier as it's a Pay and Display style set up, rather than a standard free customer car park, but it's certainly worth a go.

Hello all!

So unfortunately I've just received a penalty notice from a Morrisons car park, ran by Euro Car Parks. I received the letter quite late, so I only have 5 days to pay the discounted £60, before it's £100. Now I've used this car park a dozen times, and I've paid each time, and I suspect that when I tried my RingGo app again this time, the payment wasn't successful, and I hadn't noticed.

My first question is, what's the chance this appeal will overturn the ticket? I have already written out an appeal letter, very heart felt, and am ready to send. The more important question is, if I submit an appeal, until it's denied will the discounted price of £60 stay the same, until the notice is either overturned, or denied?

I've had a situation like this before, but with another parking company, and they kept the discounted price until an answer to the appeal way made, but this is another company and I'm not quite sure ;v;It says on their website they place the charge on hold, but will the discounted price stay?

Sorry about the wall of text y'all, I work part-time so £100 is basically a week for me, and I'm getting stressed :c
Thank you!

I have included a snapshot of the letter that I have received, along with the terms regarding the hold of my charge on their website.
