Ignore everything except a Letter of Claim (LoC) which is most likely going to come from DCB Legal. Show it to us when you receive it and we will provide a suitable response.

Eventually an N1SDT Claim Form is going arrive. Again, when it does, show it to us, only redacting your personal details, the claim number and the MCOL password. Leave ALL dates visible, especially the issue date. We will provide a suitable defence and instructions on how to proceed.

If you follow the advice, the claim will eventually be struck out or discontinued.
Title: UKPC/POPLA rejected. Is there anything I can do now?

Hi all,

Wish I’d found this forum a lot sooner to be honest. Hoping there might be someone who can help / advise if there’s anything I can do in my situation to get out of this charge.

I got a McDonald’s drive-thru after a gig at about 1am, parked for about 20 minutes whilst I ate it, in what I thought was McDonald’s car park, however it turns out although you need to drive through the car park I parked in, it’s actually ran by UKPC. They have large signs that say ‘3 hours max parking’ and on a smaller sign below is states no parking after 12:15am.

I appealed to UKPC and stated I didn’t see the sign (which I didn’t) and I also appealed to POPLA. I didn’t use a template, had never seen this site or others.

Both were rejected. I didn’t see the email from POPLa notifying me of the rejection which is dated 16th April. I logged in last night and the charge is now £170.

I haven’t had any letters other than the initial one information of the offence.

Is there anything at all I can do?

Any help massively appreciated at this time!

Thanks!
