We definitely need to see a good phot of that sign. I expect the appeals here were invoked without advice from here.
-
There are only. few appeals here all refused bar one who was a courier and got the loading exemption.
The term time sign ought to be a winner but more likely if it was more obviously a holiday time.
The signs are set well back and you are committed to the turn perhaps.

They will re-offer the discount if you submit the reps tonight. Although its a postal, not a roadside PCN, the councils (except Havering), generally follow the convention of re-offering the discount when rejecting reps received within the discount period. However, if they reject your reps, what are you going to do.Be in no doubt that they will reject them. COuncil know that >95% of people cough-up on receipt of a PCN or when reps to them are rejected, so they refuse ALL reps. However, your case is strong enough for you to take them to London Tribunals as putting signs like "School Street, Term time only" is (1) not a valid traffic sign, and (2) doesn't give the information a motorist needs when approaching the sign - "is it a school holiday today ? Can I pass this sign ?"
-
I've not had a chance to take a picture of the signage and concerned that the 14 day period ends tomorrow. If I do submit an appeal does this extend the window for the reduced PCN?

Thank you for replying, I will try to go back and get pictures of the signage
I believe the Red Sign states "School Streets Restricted Access Term-time only" but can't make out the timings clearly on the White Sign.
If that is what the sign says, you have an excellent appeal argument. How are you to find out the term dates ? Similar signs, albeit on a blue background have already won appeals at London Tribunals.
Hippocrates on this forum will no doubt soon be along to tell you more. Essentially, signs must convey to a motorist what the TRO says; these don't. It's similar to zones around major event sites like football grounds where the date of the next event is displayed on the zone entry signs. These term time notices are put there because the council can't be arsed to go around and put whether it is term time or not, on the signs

Unfortunately, Google Street View latest is March 2022, and no signs are present, so we need to see what the signs say that you passed. Their video shows you turning right into the close, so one would expect an advance warning sign. The restriction is clearly for the Farnham Green primary school so is a timed restriction. The sign in their photos also shows a sign in red below; we need to see what that says.

Hello all, I have received this PCN.
I fully admit I made an error here, I didn't even notice the signs.
I was in the area to visit a terminally ill friend who sadly passed a few days later. I was just looking for somewhere to park and completely missed the restriction.
