Well done ! Maybe Cardiff Council have finally found out they have made Cardiff such a nightmare for motorists, nobody's going there any more !

Wanted to let you know I received communication that both penalty notice charges have been dropped - they made it sound like it's a gesture of goodwill.

Thank you for your advice.
I appealed the first via email before the 28 day cut off, have not yet heard anything so will wait and see.
For the second I'm still in the 28 day window so wanted to check with you if anything had changed your side with being able to virtually drive round Cardiff before I appeal the second?
Thanks so much!
GSV is still the same. There has been no update so we cannot see the new traffic arrangements

Unfortunately, GSV Street View is not up-to-date here, so we need to see some photos of the approach. Cardiff Council seem determined to make driving in the city a complete nightmare, and have succeeded based on threads here recently. So not only can we not give advice yet, we can't even drive around Cardiff virtually to see what your route-to/from work options are.
You could submit reps on the second PCN pointing out that you were not aware of contraventions here until the two PCNs arrived in the mail. Ask for the second to be cancelled on the basis of two PCNs being a disproportionate penalty when you weren't aware of any wrong doing whilst driving.

Cardiff County Council have served me with 2 penalty charges in May for performing a prohibited turn (No right turn). The alleged offences were at Guildford Street junction/with Churchill Way.
I work on Churchill Way and on one occasion I left the office, had a phone call to say an alarm was going off so took the fastest route back. On the other occasion I'd left something in the office so again took the fastest route to get back (as per attachment to shown on the map). I'm unsure what other route I should take to get back to my office?
Any advise please on my rights to appeal the penalty charge?
