yes im perplexed atm, I thought the vid had to be seen to determine if there was even a contravention?
That's correct, but see the PM I've just sent you.
-
You need to ask for the video for these yellow box contraventions - TFL still sends it on DVD.
@stamfordman please do not ask people to order the CCTV while the discount is on offer, doing so is prejudicial.
Too cryptic for me - you'll need to explain that.
Yes but not in public, I'll PM you.

Thanks both - the rear passenger wheel is just about on the edge of the box and the other wheel is obscured. If I'd taken the corner slightly more sharply I think that wheel would have missed the box. So I agree it's petty, but is that an argument that tends to hold any weight with TFL..?
MrChips, can't recall how much space there was in front of me. I suspect I was aware of the yellow box so probably tried to go fairly close behind the white van. There seems to be quote a lot of space in front of the van though, not sure why they stopped where they did (although admit is a bit difficult to tell)
-
I'm really struggling from the camera angle to deduce how much space there was to the vehicle in front of you. You weren't in the box by much so if there was a metre or more, you had the option to move forward and clear it completely.
-
Looks petty as you mostly cleared the box. See what others say but worth having a go IMO, as also much of the contravention is hidden by a vehicle that is far more in contravention...

Hello again,
Finally found someone with a DVD player ::) - amazed that TFL insist on using this tech, couldn't even access the file at any of the libraries in Hackney as none of them use DVDs any more.
Anyway - link to the vid is here - https://streamable.com/6pkqlr. It expires in two days but I can upload again if needed. Case is still on hold according to the TFL website.
The car (HK18 VVP) enters the junction at around 2mins 40secs.
Thanks all

Ok thanks Stamfordman, I'll do that

Hello all
Please see this link to a pdf related to the above PCN:
https://jumpshare.com/v/CGjz4ZTASKwufGNuc0J6
Short bit of background - this was a postal PCN which I never received. It was sent while we were in the process of moving and rennovating, and for whatever reason never actually made it into my hands. I received the Order for Recovery and subsequently filed a statutory declaration stating that I had not received the PCN. The charge was subsequently reduced to the orignal £80.
I am now expecting a copy of the original PCN to turn up in the post and will upload here when I receive it, however I thought worth posting the PCN details now anyway as members will be able to review the evidence on the TFL website.
I believe there are some procedural issues with TFL PCNs at the moment so would welcome any advice on possible options for challenge.
Many thanks!
Sam
