Title: Re: Persistent Obstruction and Harassment Linked to Care Worker Conduct
Post by: Korting on May 23, 2025, 09:50:54 pm
If the care workers car is blocking your drive so you cant exit your drive then the police should be able to get it moved.  if you are outside of your drive trying to get in then the same does not apply.

You can always get a couple of friends to park their car so the care worker is effectively blocked in, then tell her to go and do one when she complains.

You could always call your local council to report a vehicle contravening parking regulations, specifying the vehicle is parking across your dropped kerb and blocking property access. Depends how responsive your local authority is to such matters.
Title: Persistent Obstruction and Harassment Linked to Care Worker Conduct

Over the past year, a care worker attending a neighbouring property has repeatedly obstructed access to my driveway, parking across the dropped kerb despite alternative space being available. Despite polite verbal requests, formal complaints to their employer (including CCTV evidence), and recent involvement from the police, the behaviour has persisted—ranging from partial encroachment to full blockage.

The care agency has declined to provide the worker’s details to the police, instead leaving it to her discretion to make contact, which she has not done.

They appear to know that the police cannot proceed without their full name and the registration of their private vehicle is not enough for the police to make a house call.
