If they do prosecute for DD then you will probably go straight to court via a postal requisition rather than SJP.
Indeed. DD cannot be dealt with under the SJP. As well as that, if DD was to be prosecuted I think that proceedings would have been taken by now.

Yes, unusual for a DD prosecution just for speeding even over an extended period or distance.
Unless there was something else about your driving that you haven't mentioned?

Was this in England/Wales or Scotland?
Indeed, it's unusual to be charged for Dangerous in E&W for just speed alone...
I would assume this is going to be progressed to court but as noted this often happens just before the 6 month deadline just when you though they had forgotten...
But I would be planning on a licence revocation under the New Drivers Act.

It has been over 1 month now with no correspondence, is this a good sign?
Not really.
That speed will see you prosecuted in court. No further paperwork is required before court proceedings begin. The first you will hear of this will be by way of a "Single Justice Procedure Notice." If it's only speeding the police intend to proceed with they have six months to begin proceedings and in many areas they take all of that time. If they intend to prosecute you for Dangerous Driving there is no time limit for them to bring that charge.

Wondering what is my situation looking like
Long story short:
Dual Carriage way, empty 1am, dry conditions. Undercover trailed me for 2 miles speeding.
Marked unit waited for me I slowed down when I saw them and they flashed me.
Blew 0.0, all paperwork in order.
Officer said he will be reporting me for Dangerous Driving but let me continue driving.

0 points, clean record, Held my license for 1 year.
