Just so you know, you didn't redact your name.
As the decision is published on the tribunal website, that's somewhat academic.

I sent exactly as advised in this thread by email and received a receipt.

Cant see where you can reply to this letter ... ?
You don't need to reply, you need to call London Tribunals on 020 7520 7200 and ask if your appeal has been registered yet. If they confirm that it has been, you can simply ignore the charge certificate.

I do know London Tribunals have had a bit of a backlog lately registering appeals, so it might be that if it's still in the queue to be processed, TFL have not been notified yet (hence the charge certificate).

The important thing is that as long as you emailed the form to the tribunal within the 28 day period, it doesn't matter how long the tribunal back office staff take to process it, the appeal was in-time and that's the end of that.

Indeed at least having emailed it you know they've received it, if you'd sent it in the post we'd have no idea if it was simply lost in the post.

I'll try again.
What, exactly, did you send? (Earlier posts talk about registering an appeal with LT.)
To whom did you send it (as in to whom was it addressed?

-----
EDIT

OK, I've re-read the thread. I assume you sent it to LT as per CP's post reply#13.

Please post up the acknowledgement e-mail from LT.

Then, first thing in the morning, ring LT and ask what's happened to your registration.

The letter is a Charge Certificate (too small to read - what is the date on it?) to which you cannot reply.

As soon as we know what's happening with the Tribunal, you can be advised on next steps.
HHave you checked your junk folder for a possible e-mail? Have you had any problems with the post?

You need to redact your name and address - leave the rest.

oh, ive never had to do this before. really?
Have a look at these unfortunate cases:

If the adjudicator for some reason looks at the wrong papers and says you were stopped on double red lines so the penalty is upheld, you could ask for a review but that's a lot of extra work and hassle. Better to have a hearing that isn't really needed, than not have a hearing and find out after the event that the adjudicator made a mistake.

Never, ever, go for a postal decision. As a minimum you should register for a telephone hearing. Most people going for postal decisions lose.

thank you for all of this .....

why the email communication?

is it ok to pick a postal hearing?

shall I just state the case against tfl you quoted above or write more as in my first objection?

will scan tmrw and send.

apologies for delay, mother in hospital ....

thanks again!

I have removed the documents where you left your postal address visible.

To be honest with these red route box cases, you can appeal yourself and just put "I rely on the panel decision in Commercial Plant Services Ltd and others v Transport for London (2230060716, 25 May 2023)".

Don't send the form in the post, scan or photograph it and then email it to queries@londontribunals.org.uk

That way you get an instant acknowledgment and there's no delays or risks of paperwork being lost in the post. On this point, in section 7 tick the box saying you'll accept communications by email.

The tribunal will allow the appeal and then you'll get an email saying TFL have applied for a review which is on hold pending the judicial review in the High Court (which is wholly outside of your control, but we have a team of people working on it).

Im not quite sure how to delete a post on here

On your posts at the top r-h corner you will find a button marked 'Modify': hit this and you'll find your post can be edited. Just delete the images. You may have to write a word like 'deleted' if the box doesn't like being left empty.
By the way, what was the vietnamese link all about? -I didn't click on it.

I've edited page 1 of your rejection (see above) so you can delete your images with name and address.
I'll try and do page2 for you.
EDIT
Done, but not very good :(
There should be more pages to the rejection.
Title: Re: TFL Red Route rejected

my reply was more or less this but i put it more in my own words :

Dear Transport for London,

I challenge liability on the basis of a procedural impropriety, specifically it is unlawful for you to serve a postal PCN in these circumstances. I refer you to the red route panel decision in Commercial Plant Services Ltd & others v Transport for London (2230060716, 25 May 2023) published at www.londontribunals.gov.uk/sites/default/files/keycases/Red%20Route%20Panel%20Decision.pdf

It follows that the PCN must be cancelled.

Yours faithfully,

I noticed someone quoted that TFL need traffic to be kept moving bt where I parked is a parking bay and will never be a lane for driving along ....
I always park there, thought you could at any time on weekends, didnt realise it includes saturdays!

You gave a link to each image but did not use the BBCodes.

Each link leads to the image but using the enlarge button does not take it much larger.
Scrolling down past the image leads to a selection of codes.

selecting and copying the BBCode here should produce the image in this post,
so I have deleted the earlier bbcode, tried to resize you image and edit out your name & address but think you need to resize your saved images in your computer
(https://i.ibb.co/gFNjfhZ/tflreject1.jpg) (https://ibb.co/6JznTL0)

Here's page 2
(https://i.ibb.co/YBRKK05/tflreject2.jpg) (https://ibb.co/Kx0QQKt)

But the image is from the same small one which you uploaded, and so (I'm not that computer savvy) I think you need to upload a larger one. Anyway, you should redact your name and address before reposting.

Hi John,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Did the images not upload above as I followed your instructions on imgbb?

Title: Re: TFL Red Route rejected

The reason for transferring the info across from PPP is that this case is likely to drag on past the possible shut down on 1st November.

TfL are probably (still can't read it) up to their usual tricks in these cases of saying they do not agree with the panel decision, which means appealing to the Tribunal, the tribunal cancelling, and your getting a letter from TfL advising of their application for judicial review.

But please try and upload larger images of the rejection to https://imgbb.com/

Please post the original PCN and your rep here. Also repost the rejection as the above is too small to read.
Have a read of
https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/

If you use https://imgbb.com/ and upload each image one by one, you can scroll down and use the BBCodes for each to embed in your post
