It seems reversing was out of the option as car was right behind, but I agree about turning left. Should I just appeal stating the above? Is it worth mentioning that it was also only for 3 seconds?

You should have reversed or bailed out left. But yes the bus driver did stop unexpectedly so worth a try. It looks to me the driver was worried about the gap as there was an oncoming bus.

Hi all,
We recently received this PCN for stopping in a junction box. The vehicle was behind the bus and the road was clear in front of the bus, but for some reason the bus decided to stop shortly after the junction box, causing the vehicle to stop in the box. Not sure as to why the bus stopped. Is there a chance as technically the vehicle entered the box without there being enough space to clear it as it was completely unexpected for the bus to stop - there isn't a bus stop near there. The video makes what I am trying to say much clearer.
The car was stationary for about 3 seconds in the box. I've also added a screen grab of how much space was in front of the bus, and also the car in the box. Apologies but I do not know how to link the video - but it is available on the council site.
