There is an internet resource called the wayback machine on web.archive.org.
I sent an enquiry to Archive.org asking if it were possible to fully archive Pepipoo in June 2023, and had a very positive reply from one of their directors, so it may well be fully archived as of around that date.
It is somewhat difficult to search/navigate as you rely on IA's search feature, but if you have old Pepipoo links on other sites they should hopefully be archived, obviously heeding DWMB2s advice.

What happened to the old PPP site?
I only realised it was defunct after I referred someone there for help with a private parking ticket.
You could do worse than a read of this thread

With respect, it's not unreasonable to assume that a thread title of "contact made" would mean you had made contact with someone...
yep that's exactly what I thought.

You know, some people would say thank you...
Thank you for telling us something we already knew 🤷🏻♂️
I appreciate the effort.

I have no idea who Mike or Steve are, and if you think about it, why should I? The title is about the defunct website and the fact I have been able to find some material. You have simply put your own interpretation on my words.

Useful, but I take issue with the thread title.
In the context of the lamented demise of PePiPoo, "contact made" suggests some kind of dialogue with Mike and/or Steve in regards to the possibility of "absorbing" the old site.

Anyone using any PePiPoo archives would be wise to check with this forum before relying on anything to support an ongoing case, particularly if the PPP threads they have found are very old.
What was good advice 10 years ago may not be good advice today.

I used pepipoo sometime ago and was grateful for the help I had, and I'm not sure why it vanished. There is quite a lot of comment here about how sad people are that the very useful information on it also vanished. However, it has not vanished. There is an internet resource called the wayback machine on web.archive.org. This is a system that takes snapshots of websites at intervals over time, and I have done a bit of research. Pepipoo is indeed indexed, and has numerous (Over 150,000 - that's huge) hits. Some will be more useful than others, of course, but I suspect that an enormous amount of information is retrievable. Unfortunately, the wayback machine is not fast, so patience will be required, but some news is good news, I hope.
