Councils need holding to account. there really ought to be an ombudsman who ensures everything is fair at the time and not leave experts trying to mop up the mess with limited resources and power

Information not held.

Re Southwark and Lewisham. The latter have now fixed their website and amended the wording of their PCNs. I am unsure when but I will ask.  I have a case pending in which, basically, they called me a liar. I have made statements about their website which I know to be untrue.

Southwark and Lambeth are plodding on regardless.

FOIR:

Subject header: Your website pertaining to all types of traffic contraventions

Dear Sir or Madam

I refer to this statement* on your website and ask for figures as follows:

*The amount outstanding on the Penalty Charge Notice will increase to £195.00 very soon. Please pay £130.00 now.
You have already made representations for this PCN and we replied on *********. You cannot make representations twice.

At all stages in the process post representations whether formal challenges or informal challenges, how many motorists have been in receipt of the same when accessing the said website? I refer to all legislations - parking, bus lane and/or moving traffic.
At the Tribunal appeal stage, how many motorists have abandoned their appeal at the Tribunal when accessing such information? I refer to all legislations - parking, bus lane and/or moving traffic.
The total income derived since this information has been published and its timeframe.
In bus lane contraventions, how many people have not made representations against the Enforcement Notice having accessed such information and received a Charge Certificate.
The income derived from 4 above.
What does your website currently state as prices have increased since 7th April?

If anyone has had from the following:

Lambeth: moving traffic contravention or bus lane PCN.

Lewisham: any PCN at all for any legislation: parking, bus lane, moving traffic.

Southwark: any PCN at all for any legislation: parking, bus lane, moving traffic.

And you have paid it, you have certainly fallen victim to the appalling website of each authority named above since it contains misinformation, illegal threats and opportunistic statements.

This is particularly true of Lambeth and Southwark bus lane PCNs since they advise you online that you cannot make another challenge. So, you may well receive a charge certificate if you believe this.

I am incensed by all this. I know that The Three Musketeers have won many cases on this issue - and the Adjudicators are not at all pleased either; however, I am thinking of the thousands of £s unjust enrichment.  The cases won are a drop in the ocean as far as the councils are concerned, of course.

Please contact me urgently.
