Absence of signage on the video can win an adjudication, but will involve risking the full PCN penalty. The problem is that the council can demonstrate the presence of the signs with a witness statement and photographs.

Appreciate the review. Is it right that the 14-day discount period ends tomorrow? Do you have an idea or some wording I can use for an appeal?

However Tollington Park is a long street and there are many streets leading rigt off it, so one could argue 'vague locus'. Certainly there are two NRT signs so one cannot argue inadequate signage, in my opinion.

There may be a 'technical' appeal argument, so wait a bit, but don't miss the discount deadline if that is what your father is minded to do.

Your mother as the owner, has legal responsibility for paying or appealing. Was your father following satnav ? Fatal in London nowadays, one must keep a very keen eye open for signs restricting entry to streets.
No signs in video.

Sorry for writing this message so late...my dad is in his 70's and had issues sending me the photos. The 14-day period will be over on the 12th March so any prompt feedback would be much appreciated...

My dad was driving my mums car in Islington and picked up a PCN for making a prohibited right turn. The ticket is addressed my mum.

Hopefully you can all assist. Thanks
