Please do not use the term "Parking Charge Notice", as this title is in common use for private parking tickets, but has no place in council parking and traffic enforcement. You have received a Penalty Charge Notice from Lewisham, a London council for a moving traffic offence of passing a No Motor Vehicles sign, (commonly called the "Flying Motorbike" sign). Here are the signs, and it is clear this is a protective restriction for a school on the street: -

If you approached on Holbeach Road, there are advance warnings of the restriction. These are not actually traffic signs so could be criticised, but may not swing any appeal at London Tribunals.

The layout here could be considered very confusing, because at the junction with Doggett Road, there is a Right Turn Only arrow, thus making a motorist turn almost directly into the restriction. However the signs are not right on the junction, being set back a few yards, no doubt to allow a motorist to turn round and return back up Holbeach Road. At the moment, I can't see much else to go on, but there may be a technical appeal argument based on Lewisham mismanagement of the enforcement process. So please post up all sides of the PCN, and also, please, unredact the PCN Number and car reg.so we can look at the video. Or you can post the video here yourself. Their video is the sole evidence of the alleged contravention, so we need to see it.

Hello,

I have recently received a Parking Charge Notice as the keeper from NSL concerning an incident on 04 March 2025.

The letter is attached. Are there any grounds for this to be successfully  challenged?
