Good result!

I emailed Derbyshire CREST this morning and three hours later I received a response stating that the second notice has been cancelled!
-
Send both replies together with covering letter stapled to both, I suggest, if I wasn’t clear. Plus proof of posting from the Post Office as usual.
-
Both NIPs from Derbyshire CREST.
It seems @DurhamDriver was successful here (https://www.ftla.uk/speeding-and-other-criminal-offences/received-2-nips-on-same-journey-17-minutes-apart/msg35433/#msg35433).
I will enclose covering letters.

It has a fair chance if they are the same force, but we have seen several cases on this stretch recently where the offences were 2 separate forces, and the request was denied. But as jfollows says, worst that can happen is they say no, and you have the 2 offences to deal with.
-
Reply to both NIPs correctly and attach a covering letter to both replies requesting that the offence be considered as a single continuous offence rather than two separate offences.
If you don’t ask, you won’t get, and the police are reasonably tolerant of this argument.

I have received two separate NIPs, referring to images from two pairs of average speed cameras time-stamped seven minutes apart, on the same stretch of motorway at immediately consecutive locations on the M1.
Would it be possible to get the second NIP struck-out?
How should I respond to both NIPs?
