I was told by someone that it's allowed as long as it's under 3 minutes, but I'm not sure if that's true.
Definitely not true ! Never believe anybody who tells you things like that. Hopefully the experts will son be on to tell you if the PCN is worth fighting or not.

I paid someone a fraction of the price and they got the ticket cancelled successfully. Not sure how they did it

Where you parked is a No Stopping contravention, except if loading is being carried out, (20 minutes max). You don't say whether you were loading or not, so were you ?

If you weren't loading then the contravention seems to be made out, but this doesn't mean it's game over, because there are a number of flaws in TfL management of the enforcement process that have won appeals in the recent past, so wait until the experts on this have commented. However, don't miss the pay or appeal deadline on the PCN.

Thanks for the reply. No, I wasn't loading. I was just waiting to pick up a passenger, but they bailed, so I left. Never got out of the car or anything. I was told by someone that it's allowed as long as it's under 3 minutes, but I'm not sure if that's true. I tried searching for it but couldn’t find anything. In what way do you reckon there could be flaws in the enforcement process?

Hi all,

I received a PCN from TFL for contravention 46 (Stopped where prohibited on a red route). I was only there for about 3 minutes and didn’t get out of the car, just in and out quickly.

I’d really appreciate any advice on how to appeal this. Thanks in advance
