Penalty Charge Notice (parking ticket) number:ZN15737762
Date of contravention: 21 February 2025
Location: Stapleton Hall Road, N4, STRD/GR (SG) CPZ
Received a PCN for parking on my road on 21 feb when a temporary Traffic order was in place to allow pollarding of trees. I have contested this as :
1) two separate notices were in place at the same time, one on the 21st, and one for the 24th and I only saw the one for the 24th. there are about 10 up and down the street
2) the sign nearest to me that said the 21st was pulled down and not visible from the road.
3) despite the notices and PCN for the 21st, NO work whatsoever took place on that day. it is only happening today, the 24th
Obviously this was rejected as per... (for some reason the rejection letter they emailed has a Sheffield address for a london borough as well, but)
The rejection letter also states "The circumstances you describe do not provide mitigation for failing to comply with a Resident Permit holder only sign"
This is also rubbish, there was no relevant resident permit holder only sign and I hold a valid one in any case
Do I have further grounds to appeal and risk paying the full £130?
Thanks for any advice
