Title: Re: Electric vehicle only bags with a resident permit restriction
Post by: stamfordman on February 22, 2025, 05:46:29 pm
Controlled parking zone entry signs control only single yellow lines.
Bay signs are controlled by their signs and that EV bay applies 24/7 for zone permit holders only.
The general resident bays there are probably the same as the CPZ times as they are in many CPZs but they aren't always so and the sign must always be checked.

Sorry, couldn’t edit my previous message. Specifically, I’m asking if the restriction to zone JJ permit holders only applies 24/7. I’m confused as the zone controlled hours are not 24/7 but the bay sign doesn’t include days/times like the resident permit holder bays.

I’d like to know what restrictions apply to this type of bay.

Bay is located in parking zone JJ.
Zone JJ controlled hours are Monday-Friday only.

The separately marked bay (not visible on street view) is signed “Electric Vehicle Recharging Point Permit holder JJ only”.

Does this restriction apply 24/7 despite zone JJ operational hours only being Monday-Friday during certain hours?
