AFAIR Brent may now have updated their website?
So no 'technical appeal' there, then ?
They have not.

This is my first time getting fined for going into a part-time pedestrian zone and I have been driving for a while.  The signs are confusing and I was trying to find a way to someone's house that I was providing with a quotation for some work.

It is a nuisance - driving has become difficult and there are so many cameras looking to profit from unsuspecting people that are going about their business.

I am so sad and upset as it feels as though I have been penalised for being an older driver that struggles with all the restrictions that are being introduced.  I have to navigate, pay attention to the speed limits, the roads, and be aware of restrictions while knowing the correct time.  It is so difficult.

Thieving councils and complicit government should be removing barriers to business, but instead they make it harder and harder.

OK, so here is the sign that you passed, and it has been there for four years as this GSV view is January 2021

GSV for December 2020, shows an advance sign, although if it's still there, it should have been changed to reflect the vehicles allowed to pass that the current sign has on it.

So, did you jus misjudge the time, knowing the sign was there ? 5 minutes into the restriction times is rather too much for a de minimis appeal, frankly.

IN recent times, the councils have started to introduce web pages that accept representations against a PCN, and these have been found to be riddled with errors, such that appeals have been won on them. So see what the others say, but don't miss the PCN deadline to pay or submit reps

I just received a PCN for driving into a pedestrian zone at 1435.  The zone comes into effect at 1430, so I entered 5 minutes too late to miss the penalty.

Is there a defence that I can use?
