There have been a number of successes here based on inadequacy of advance signage and impossibility of reversing onto A4.
Using each of the following search terms (top r-h corner of every page here) throws up a number of threads.
Rivercourt yields 7 results and
A4 Hammersmith yields 4
See, e.g.
https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/hammersmith-and-fulham-52m-prohibition-on-certain-types-of-vehicle-down-road-rav/
A successful thread here

with some useful photos of the signage.
Compose a draft representation based on these threads and post here for comment before submitting.
Please also, as usual, post all sides of the PCN (redacting only yr name & address) and a GSV link to the location and the video.
You should be able to 'phone H&F and ask if there are any more PCNs outstanding against your reg mark.

Hi,
I have read all the existing posts abut the recent introduction of restricted access from the A4 to Rivercourt Road.
It seems I have fallen victim to this same failure to communicate this restriction adequately (or at all).
I have used this route regularly nearly every Weds morning for 3 years. I too am from outside the area.
I think I have used this road at least 4 times since it says the restrictions came in, at least three times in December and then once more in January but the first communication I received was a PCN notice for a contravention on 29 January 2025.
I received no warning letters.
I did not notice any change in signage.
I have seen the temporary lit up sign i one of the posts but if I had I certainly wouldn't have related it to my route on Rivercourt road even if I had!
I don't mind obeying the regulations provided I know what they are!
Iam curious to know if anybody have had any success in overturning a PCN for this? Or should I just pay the £65 and be done with it?
Thanks
NB1
