This is a short bay with room for about 3 cars, judging by GSV views, so one sign is sufficient and the suspension sign was mounted where the bay sign is, so it has been mounted correctly. It is the duty of a motorist to check the bay sign when parking, but unfortunately, a lot of people who park in a particular bay most of the time, don't bother. The photos appear to show a triangular sign was erected to make it prominent from a view along the pavement too. So difficult to argue against, in my view, the arrival in the dark with a non-functioning street lamp would seem to be your best approach, also pointing out you are a resident who parks there regularly. This latter is to try to get them to use their powers to accept mitigation.

Main message is to submit representations; do not pay straightaway and join the Mugged Club, but make sure your reps are received within the discount period. Post up their response when you get it.

She has a valid permit for the permitted bay, and all permit parking signage is still visible and not obscured by the parking suspension signage.

I would appreciate any advice on how to approach this appeal
