Thanks, I wasn't sure if that would happen. You're saying I keep the discount irrespective of whether I win or lose the appeal?

So far as I know the vrm is invalid, I missed a letter off it, emailed them the next day and got told they would pcn me, which turned up yesterday, dated 24th Jan. I'll appeal and see what happens.

What is the typo.Is the wrong VRM a live one.

Don't pay as that closes the case. A polite ask to TFL will hopefully get a cancellation but if they reject they will reoffer the discount.

as title, paid the congestion charge but made a typo in vrm and have a pcn.

I'm thinking of paying the 90 quid to keep the discount and appealing. Is that allowed?
