@Pepsi no you did not run out of time, you just ran out of patience. As I've told you via PM, if you had made a representation as I told you to, the penalty would have been kept on hold until you got a response from TFL.

Unfortunately the result is that you've now thrown your money away for nothing, there are literally zero circumstances where it makes sense to pay the full penalty amount without attempting an appeal, but it's too late now.

Hi All,

Thank you all who looked and considered my case. Unfortunately, I run out of time…

Best wishes to all!

The deadline is tonight as I had an extension for the evidence.
TFL told you that on the phone and you believed them? Or do you have something in writing? Either way the discount has gone:

At this point all I can suggest is that you make a one-line representation on the TFL website saying that the contravention did not occur, this will at least preserve your right to appeal to the tribunal.

Tomorrow morning call TFL on 0343 222 3333 and ask for the CCTV, they'll send you a DVD in the post.

@Pepsi the VRM is still redacted, so we still can't really look at anything.

The traffic order is The GLA Roads and GLA Side Roads (Banned Movements) Traffic Order 2024 (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r3AeoGZ3wU1OyItl7vTsy3SK-r_R1-si/view).

Why do you think the deadline is tonight? The 28 days from the date of service of the PCN expired on Wednesday of last week?!?

@cp8759, I PMd you the VRM.

The deadline is tonight as I had an extension for the evidence.

Best!

@Pepsi you've given us literally nothing to work with. Please re-post the PCN without redacting anything at all apart from your name and address: we need to see the PCN number, the VRM, and the date of the PCN.

Hi CP8759,
Apologies for misunderstanding.

Here the PCN attached again as requested.

Apologies for the rush again - deadline for me is tonight.

Hippocrates was suggesting you PM CP8759, -'I would PM' not 'I will PM'.

I would PM cp8759. AFAIR there is a problem with their Notices of Rejection?

Hi Guys,

@Hippocrates - do you have a reply from cp8759? shall I PM @cp8759 ?

Tomorrow is my deadline to pay or make presentation…

On what grounds (within the PCN options) can i make the presentation to TfL? My ticket is attached to original posting.

I do not have Notice od rejection yet… and not sure what AFAIR is... :(

Guys - last few hours for me to do something about this ticket - please help as matter of urgency…

Thank youuuuuu!

Thank you Hippocrates

Will sign the petition.

But do you think that there is a technicality that can help my case?
Would be most grateful 🙏

I really haven’t noticed any signage…
Not one, not two, but three NRT signs, so claiming insufficient signage doesn't look a credible appeal argument.
However, the good news is that TfL PCNs can be easy to beat, based on 'technical' appeal arguments developed by our admin and also a couple of contributors with familiarity with London so wait for their input

However, your immediate first step, (if you haven't done so already),  is to phone TfL and ask for the video, which puts a fortnight into the enforcement timetable, so gets you, (and more importantly, us), off the hook timewise. They will send you a DVD. and freeze enforcement for 2 weeks. TfL seem strangely reluctant to put their videos on-line like all the London councils, one has to wonder why.

Hi Incandescent,

I know it looks ridiculous now, but believe me I never realised and noticed when I did it…  >:(

Could the technicality specialists please have a say what could be salvaged?

Many thanks!

Is there any chance to fight this PCN, please?

Hippocrates, any thoughts?

Thank you in advance!

The only hope you've got to overturn the PCN is a 'technical' appeal, because the presence of three signs is against you. An adjudicator will inevitably decide that the signage is sufficient.

I expect the 'ferrets' on here are already looking to see what alternative options you have so wait a bit, but don't miss the deadline to pay or submit reps.

Hi Incandescent,
Thank you for looking into my issue.

I have requested the video footage from TfL and although they were not very happy and cooperative, will post it.

Anyway they confirmed extra 14 days extension. According to the person from TfL the dead line for payment is 23th of Feb.
(By the way - I have missed the deadline for 50% discount and now I am on full payment of £160  :'( ).

Please let me know what I can do or which colleague to contact in order to help.
Thank you and thank you all guys! Much appreciated.

Hi all,
First time posting - sorry if not up yo scratch... ;) And first PCN  :-[ .

I had a TfL camera PCN in Lee High Road SE-BND JW Clarendon Rise SE134 for right turn. :( .
I really haven’t noticed any signage…

Please help!
Can I make a representation?
What grounds should I use?
Is it a winnable case?

I have only few days left to do it on reduced penalty.

Any help is deeply appreciated. I have attached the ticket for info,

Thank you in advance!  :)
