Email received from the London Tribunals today....

"The Enforcement Authority has informed the Tribunal that it will not contest your appeal against the
Penalty Charge Notice(s) stated above.

The Adjudicator has therefore allowed your appeal without considering the evidence or any details of
the case. You are not liable for any further charge(s) against the Penalty Charge Notice(s) stated
above and, where appropriate, any amounts already paid will be refunded by the Enforcement
Authority."

Colin_S you're going about this the wrong way. Please post up all the documents you've received and we'll explain what you actually need to do. Also please do not post about your case on other peoples' threads.

My PCN is still with TFL. I challenged the original PCN online but either TFL's system failed to register my challenge or I screwed up submitting it and very frustratingly, didn't take a screenshot of the submission either. I only discovered the problem when a Charge Certificate arrived in the post yesterday. I've resubmitted the challenge stating a possible fault in their system for the late submission as I distinctly remember completing all the various pages of the appeal process and noted I had appealed the PCN on the form, as I always do - we get 20+ various tickets a year from various sources so I'm fairly efficient at dealing with them.  :'(

I'll let others comment on your appeal wording and whether it's worth adding in my thoughts on the signage.

I recently appealed a similar PCN and as in the GSV images in this case additionally found the signage defective.

Copied and pasted from my appeal text:

Firstly, the signage does not comply with the requirements of the Traffic Signs Manual, Chapter 3, Paragraph 16.1.4 namely: “All upright signs should face oncoming traffic as drivers need to be able to read them without stopping, otherwise they might be committing an offence.” The signage to the loading bay where our vehicle was parked is parallel to the road and therefore incompliant.

I've also sent the above email.
