Thanks for that !

Thanks but apparently LCC can claim a delay by DVLA . Again thanks for your help.
In theory, but it's not a paper-based system anymore, but a computer-based messaging system (request-response). In all my years on Pepipoo, and now FTLA, I have never seen a council claim it was delay by DVLA.

I’ve just checked my call logs, I spoke to them on 0151 233 3011 👍

They have 28 days to serve a postal PCN from date of alleged contravention, so they are already too late anyway.

Thanks for your reply and now I'm a little more hopeful . As i said though I haven't received anything at all via post and thought about phoning but not sure which dept. to contact. I was again in Liverpool on Saturday and asked a couple of bus drivers who said I would have heard by now if I was going to get a PCN.

I’ve just replied in my thread mate 👍

Hello all .I have the same problem as PC 151 posted in November 2024 . I don't drive in Liverpool very often and I turned into Lime St. from London Road on 4 December 2024 ,the sign said ''no cars except bus and taxi and access '' I had to go to the Liner Hotel ,Lord Nelson St. ( first left off Lime St, ) which may or may not count as access ? I only drove 100 yds down Lime St. before turning left to the hotel . I have heard nothing from LCC and it's now 7 weeks. What I dread is the PCN having gone astray and I then get charged extra fees . Any comments greatly appreciated .
