Havering council acting unlawfully yet again !!
You really MUST take them to London Tribunals on this, and ask for costs when you inevitably win. The contravention is only made out when the motorist enters the box and has to stop in the box due to the presence of stationary vehicles. The signs, whilst obviously stationary, are not vehicles !!

Definitely worth appealing: I'd take up Mr.Mustard on his kind offer.
For completeness, please post up all sides of the PCN (only redact yr name & address), the video, and a GSV link to the location.

100% not a contravention. I would like to fight this for you and lodge a complaint

Hi,
I wanted to double check if it's worth appealing this.
I received PCN for Entering and Stopping in a Box Junction When Prohibited. Contravention Code 31J from Havering Council.
I entered the yellow box junction, when there was no traffic ahead of me to go straight. As I was entering, I noticed the ROAD WORKS AHEAD sign which was at the end of the box junction. I stopped for approximately 1 or 2 seconds to read the sign and then turned left instead. There were no cars behind me, so I didn't affect anyone. I was actually the only car on the road at that time.
Is this worth appealing?
