@Wanda5 I've replied to your email.
-
I'll email you this evening, don't worry about the 14 day period as you can't really lose a case like this, so you won't be paying anything to the council anyway.
-
I sent an email to @cp8759 yesterday.
Would they be able to get back to me today, as it's been 14 days since the PCN letter was sent and I'll need to send through the representations today.
Many thanks

I'll take photos and video tomorrow.
I have private messaged you regarding the other mitigating circumstances.

Can you get us updated photos of the signage? A brief video would also be helpful.
Is there any mitigation worth mentioning, especially anything unrelated to the contravention? A failure to consider can make for an easy win.
One obvious issue is that the notice doesn't specify what turn is prohibited (left, right or u-turn).
Also the council website is a joke, the ground of appeal are all either missing or wrong:

Just wanted to know if anyone has looked into this case please? I'm conscious of time as it is coming up to 14 days.

Can anyone advise please?
A bit of context regarding the prohibited turn - we live a few metres after the turn. The restriction was put in place a few years ago to stop motorists using one of the roads in the estate as a rat run. On this particular day, as mention in my previous post, husband took the turn by mistake, but he was just returning home and not driving through other roads on the estate.
-
At the time this occurred there was a lot doing on. Husband's close relative has had worrying health issues and I know it's been on his mind alot. He usually avoids this turn every morning, but on this one occasion slipped up and didn't realise the time. I'm not sure if there's any point in telling the council this.
Is there anything in the PCN letter that can be used for appeal?
Thanks

Fettered to one ground too.

Well they have confusedly stated when a charge certificate can be sent. Page two please.

Received a PCN for performing a prohibited turn at 7.06am. The turn is prohibited from 7am to 9am on weekdays.
Husband was driving the car and didn't realise the time. Want to appeal as the turn was just 6 mins after the restriction begins. Is there anything in the PCN that we can use in the appeal.
