Title: Re: Redbridge - Perrymans Farm PCN (School Roads)
Post by: Hippocrates on March 25, 2025, 05:01:47 pm
Hello Hippocrates / All,

I have a PCN for exactly the same place as listed above by CGPG.

I have checked the signage today (it was not legible on the photo or video provided on the PCN) and it has not changed since John U.K. posted the image in the thread above.

Where you advised CGPG to "Please screenshot all website pages and report back" which webpage were you referring to, the council's PCN web page or something else?

Thanks for any assistance you may be able to offer.
Please start your own thread.

I trust you have taken screenshots?

Thank you both. I have logged a representation against the PCN this afternoon. Using the points you raised and in particular the Term Time Only signage.

Please screenshot all website pages and report back. When this has been done (referring to 2 below) I suggest this:

1.   The signage pertaining to term time is proscribed and there are no warning signs.
2.   Your website as per the attached screenshots fetters discretion and limits to one ground of representation which flies in the face of the law and the PCN thereby causing confusion.
In light of the above, please cancel.

(I have just filed another member's appeal.)

'term time' is not an approved wording for signs, nor is the blue sign approved signage. Use term time as the search term iin the search box (top r-h corner of this page) and have a read of some of the other threads on this topic.

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I have returned to work today after a long break over Christmas to receive this PCN from Redbridge Council. I am aware that I have missed the 14 day deadline for reduced penalty.

I am totally confused by how I managed to miss the signs whilst driving around lost looking for an address. The sign is completely misleading in my eyes as it states "Term Time Only" (also attached image). How would I know when this is? The school where I live has already broken up but I wouldn't know when other schools do. Is there anything I can say to appeal this notice?

PCN is attached here: https://imgur.com/a/NKgKkHf

Thanks in advance of any assistance you may be able to offer.
